So a couple of months ago we got a little bunny for kire to replace his binkie. And today when I got home from work he was dead. I put his cage out last night so he could be outside and I forgot to bring him inside before I left for work and when I got home he was dead. I feel so bad. And Erik was home for a little while and a baby sitter was here with Kire but I guess no one went outside. He was only out in the sun for a couple of hours so hopefully he didn't suffer too much. The hardest part was trying to explain this to Kire. We went out back and Bink was just stiff and laying on his side so Kire just thought he had fallen down. I told him that Bink got sick and he died. He told me that we need to take him to the hospital and fix him and get him some bandaids and that we need to call Erik (he calls his dad by his first name half of the time). Then we went and played in the sandbox. A few minutes later he told me we need to get a new bink bunny rabbit, a white one. So I don't think he's too upset about it.
Has anyone else killed a pet so I don't fee so bad?

Oh my gosh...that is soo sad and a little humorous at the same time. I didn't realize a bunny could die from being in the sun. Isn't the coat suppose to be a cooling system. It seems that Kire is okay, from a psychological stand point...he probably won't remember too much. Looks like you need to purchase a new white bink. Good Luck...you guys should get an animal that makes more noise. I would have forgot the bunny as well.

Our first dog that we bought together (a pug named Trouble) died of some random disease like 2 months after we moved to Spokane. We were seriously devastated. I think I cried for like a week straight. We'd had that dog since the first year we were married. Pretty tragic - Blaise still talks about him and tells me he lives with Jesus now, and dads car can't drive there. Its so hard to explain these things to kids.

About Breaking Dawn. I think I was just really frustrated with the whole love triangle! Edward was going to allow his wife to have kids with someone else...creepy!! And all this time Bella just wanted Edward and then her whole focus changed in this book to that stupid kid with a stupid name!
That's why I was mad...I have not brought myself to reading it again. Maybe I will like it the second time around.
