Never Judge a mom by the way her kid's dressed

Since Jack's been born I have to pick my battles with Kire, and picking out clothes isn't one of them. Lately he wants to wear what he wants and he will not let me change his mind. And for some reason he likes his shirts on backwards and his shoes on the wrong feet. He also always wants to wear pj's (can you blame him?). This week I was sick of fighting with him and finally allowed him to wear his Christmas footies to Target, along with his mickey mouse crocs on the wrong feet. I used to look at how some kids were dressed and wonder why their moms didn't care and dress them better. Well I will no longer judge. Sometimes kids just want to wear rocket ship pajama bottoms, a spider man t-shirt, a pirate beard, a cowboy hat and 5 bracelets on one arm.

Ever since Channing was born I am totally the same way. As a mom you definitly have to pick and choose your battles and one them, for me at least, will not be trying to make my kids look perfect all the time- even if my in-laws feel otherwise!

Cute kid! He's accepted here anytime. And it took me a sec to finally realize where that pic was taken at! :) And just so you know, I believe he left one of those bracelets over here. I was wondering where it came from.

Dude your kid is a Rockstar! That picture is freaking amazing. One thing though, did Kire draw the mustache or you? You know what it doesn't matter cause I have the same one on my face right now, seriously!

That is the cutest drag queen, cowboy, superhero I've ever seen! I love it!
Trent and I used to say we would never take our kids out with a dirty face or messy hair and snot nose, HA!

LOL... I used to always say I will never let my kids have a dirty face or running nose and they will always look perfect... So not the case.... I know exactly where you are coming from.... I say let kids be kids and there is no harm in letting them express themselves.. Even if that is choosing there clothes... you are such a good Mommy!
