Last weekend I decided I needed a tv in our front room. We have a tv downstairs, but I hate going ALL THE WAY DOWNSTAIRS to watch tv because then I can't do anything else. And we had a tv in our bedroom which I hated because Erik gets home late & wants to watch NFL NEtwork, and I can't sleep. So we got rid of the tv in our room, and got a tv out front. It has been so nice. Kire can watch cartoons while I do dishes and Erik can watch sports while I read in my room. Why didn't I think of this earlier?

I say have a tv in every room of the house. That way you can have the tv on no matter what you're doing. That's my goal. I'll never get caught up on all my shows otherwise.
I have the same issue with our TV except we only have one and its in our basement, I like it for the most part, but on those days when you need to get stuff done upstairs and you want something on in the background, it makes me nuts. Looks good and I love the Vinyl.

It really is the best. I can't express how much I love having a family/kitchen room! I get tons done. ONe day I will have a home teacher room (front living room, with no TV) but until then I am grateful for my humble little apartment's set up!
oh, and number one rule in my book is- ABSOLUTELY NO TV IN MY BEDROOM! Even though RYan wants one. It's not worth it, as you found out!
