FML

There has been a glass of milk sitting on our tv stand for 2 days. In an effort to try to teach Erik to pick up after himself I had left it alone, but this morning when I found it there still I couldn't stand it any more.
Last night when he was getting up to go into the kitchen I asked him to take it with him. He said he'd do it later. Then of course he forgot. Do most men have trouble multi tasking? Whenever I go downstairs, or even to another room, I look around and pick up anything around me. I am constantly cleaning up after my kids, I don't want to pick up after my husband too!
Erik is so wonderful. As soon as he's home from work he is playing with the boys. But he does not notice anything around the house. If I ask him to do the dishes or take out the trash he's usually great about it, but I wish I didn't have to ask and feel like I'm constantly nagging.
I guess I'm just feeling overwhelmed. I take care of all of the housework, the bills, the kids, the appointments, everything. And usually I don't mind, but I could do without picking up my husbands messes too.
That's all.

oh girlie, you are not alone! Brody is probably the worst at picking up after himself!!! I went to cali with my family and he was home for 3 days aalone. after he flew out to meet us my grammy stopped by to water teh flowers etc... and said there was food and dishes all over the place. He was seriously left it there to rot for 4 days in 90+ degree heat! Grammy cleaned it up needless to say!

I think its a guy thing because my husband ALWAYS leaves his dishes out for me to clean up, his socks all over the house... every once in a while he will suprise me and clean up especially now that i'm prego. BUT he still leaves a lot of messes and its frustrating!

It's true I do think for men messes around the house don't register in their head as messes. Josh like Erik is pretty good about helping, but like you I just wish they would do it on their own with out being asked. Most days I am okay with it, it is the reality other days I want to scream. It's kind of funny when you look at how different women and men are. :)

Like I said I KNOW! Women's lives are SO full of CRAZINESS, guys have NO idea. I feel so overwhelmed also and I am sick of Ryan telling me that he is pregnant too. I just want to scream. Ryan is acutally really clean, but I know about feeling like we are nagging- sometimes I feel like his mom and I don't want to. I could go off, but I won't!

Let's get together again, wanna see you!
