Seriously I can't believe my baby is 3 months. Kael is such a joy. He is the happiest little chub. He's still eating every 3 hours and wakes me up 2 times a night; I get jealous when I read about babies who sleep through the night, but we'll get there. He wakes me up every morning at 7 just giggling and talking to himself. The boys still smother him, but he'll enjoy the attention in a couple of months. He has this cute little dimple on one of his cheeks that shows up when he smiles big. He loves to babble and make bubbles with his lips. He loves being in the bath or shower.
The saddest part about it for me is that I haven't lost any weight in 2 months! I like being able to say that I have a newborn so I have an excuse but I can't say that anymore. I have the hardest time losing weight when I'm nursing. I stopped nursing Kire at 6 months and Jack at 5 because I was so sick of being fat. Kael is nursing so well and I'm really enjoying it this time, I didn't so much with the last 2, so I am planning on going longer this time ( not to mention formula is SOOO expensive).
I bought a juicer and a nice blender and have vegetable juice every morning and I don't feel that I eat like crap. But nursing drains a lot of energy and makes me hungrier than I normally am.
Sorry to complain. I know I am so blessed to have a healthy baby and a healthy body, even if it is chubbier than I'd like : )

oh I love that baby he is so cute! Hey girl I feel your pain on weight! I am not one of those girls that leaves the hospital losing all the baby weight I usually never lose any of it for a few months and I don't even nurse. For some reason with Finn things started to fall off on their own when he was about 6 months and then I worked my BUTT off. I too love having a newborn so I am justified with my weight. I'm sorry its no fun but yes you have a healthy beauitful baby and you are beautiful so no worries!
Skye you are one of the most beautiful women I know, and your baby boy is the cutest! I only wish Kyle had chubby cheeks and lots of hair like Kael!

I think he is so beautiful. And I agree, you are so totally beautiful. I am in the same boat with you, sister...misery loves company I guess?! But I think it's worth it, there's nothing like a cute chubby baby for sure!!
Well, you know I feel the exact same way. My goal this time is to concentrate on maintaining since I tend to gain while nursing because I also feel so hungry. So, I say good job if you've done that! Hang in there, and you won't regret nursing for longer because formula is so expensive and because it slows down, it might get easier for you to lose weight. You look great though Skye, you are so beautiful, hang in there. And Kael is a doll, I'm sure everybody around him just can't get enough!
