Today I had my IUD removed.
This bastard has been inside me for 4 months and has just caused me problems. I heard the mirena iud was a good option. You don't have to worry about birth control and it is supposed to make your periods lighter, and possibly non-existent. I got it at the end of April and kept hoping my periods would get better, but I am having a period every 2 weeks, I've broken out, and it's making me crazy emotional. FML.So today I finally had it removed and my doc said a lot of people have these problems so I'm not crazy. She also asked if I'd gained weight, and I have gained 7 pounds, despite running like 15 miles a week. So I'm pissed I waited so long to have it removed, but hope it won't take too long for the side-effects to go away.
So maybe now I'll be able to lose some weight.
Also, while I'm complaining, Erik has 2 chores: mow the lawn and do the garbage's. This week I jokingly offered to pay my neighbor, KG, to mow my lawn because it had been over 2 weeks. He volunteered to do the front yard, but I told him not to worry about it. 5 minutes later he's out mowing my lawn, so Erik ran out there out of guilt and got it done. And today, garbage day, Erik didn't get the cans out to the curb. FML. Am I really asking too much? What chores do your husbands do?
So I apologize to my neighbors for my ugly lawn and stinky trash.
Damn you football season.

ugh! Birth control, seriously don't we do enough and yet we still have to take some stupid pills or whatever that make us crazy?! Yeah hate them, sorry you had so many prob on it.
As for husband jobs, I'm right there with you. I always tell trent there are only a few things I feel he should do without me asking, garbage and lawn. He NEVER takes the garbage out and he can't mow the lawn because he has horrible allergies. Yeah love it! So I do the garbage most of the time and we got his cousin to mow our lawn for $25 every 2 weeks, it gets long but at least it gets done.
I have loved my mirena IUD, so that sucks that you hated it. I heard the copper one works better for some people. I have always been sort of bitchy so maybe I didn't notice if it made that worse. My husband is great about doing trash and all the yard work, but hates if he has to help inside. Usually on Sunday he gives in and helps me with laundry too, so I can't complain, except when he is gone for scouts, then I love to complain :)
bummer, that doesn't sound fun. hehe at least erik has football season to blame for his lack of time for chores! i almost always have to ask trent to take the garbage out...
Pretty much the same for Matt. And he washes the car and truck too. He loves doing that. But he hasn't taken the garbage or recycling out for three weeks in a row now. Pretty disgusting but I don't know what to do to make him do it.And my lawn gets mowed like once a month. Everyone else has a nice green lawn that's been weeded and fertilized. Not ours, ours is ugly and dead.
I am sorry the mirena didn't work out for you. It really has been great for me. Although, I have heard the whole weight thing so I am thinking I might et mine out just to see if I go down too! Good luck with all that. Let me know if you do.
YOU ARE NOT ASKING TOO MUCH! Football season would suck, I'm sorry. Ryan does the dishes after dinner, takes the trash out every night and takes the trash out to the street once a week, helps me pick up the house after the boys are in bed, helps me put the boys to bed, and anything and everything else I ask him to do!
