Last Week

We did a bunch of activities last week. We took Kire to the trout farm for the first time. Kire has never seen anyone fishing but he knew just what to do. He ran to the pond and threw his pole in and caught 3 fish. He could have fished all day I'm sure. We spent $12 on 3 fish and I made fish tacos that night.

Thursday we went to the ogden dino park. We have a membership and go a couple of times a month, but last week we went twice. On Thursday they were giving out movie tickets to the premier of Land of the Lost. We took Kire to it on Friday, he liked it because of the dinosaurs, but it was awful DO NOT SEE IT. There was a lot of swearing & sexual innuendos. If Kire was old enough to understand we would have walked out.
Most days Kire spends in our cul-de-sac driving cars and playing guns.

Playing "cowboys" with his best friend Austin.

On Saturday I took Kire swimming at my dad's after work. I wasn't planning on putting Jack in, but it was so warm I did and he loved it.

Saturday was our 6 year anniversary. Erik had a football camp all day Saturday so we celebrated by renting a movie (Defiance-it was really good) then going to The Melting Pot Sunday evening. It was nice to get out without the boys. We were planning on going to a movie too but dinner took so long we figured we'd better get the boys. Dinner was really good, but next time we may just go for the dessert.
FYI: Last night we watched Gran Tourino, we've been trying not to watch R but this one was worth it. The story was great, but there was horrible language.

Congrats on your anniversary- we went to the melting pot for my bday a couple weeks ago- it was fun! You have been up to a lot- don't you love summer! I love that pic of Erik with the dinosaur- HILARIOUS! I wish I could let Max play out in our cul-de-sac but we don't have any little kid neighbors.
