If anyone has noticed, I haven't updated on my weight loss. This is because there have been no changes. I get extremely frustrated because I'm working out 4-5 x week plus eating better than I have in a year and the scale hasn't moved. So I'm not going to weigh myself. When I see negative results on the scale I say to myself, "well you might as well eat that batch of cookies because it won't matter," and I
sabotage myself. So I'm going to keep eating good and exercising and hopefully it'll come off. I think starting Monday I'm going to give up sugar. I've already cut out most processed foods, but I love treats, and I hope
that'll give my body a jump start.
I just bought the Biggest loser 30 Day jump start book. I'm not going to do the program completely because I'm afraid I'll lose my milk supply, but there's a lot of great recipes and snack ideas. Jack is almost 3 months and Kire weaned himself at 7 months, so Jack may be similar-he's a big baby too.
I also bought 3 of Jillian Michael's work out DVD's; so far I've only done the 30 day shred and I really like it. It does cardio and strength.

OH I totally understand. After I had Ruby nothing came off, nothing!!!! I tried everything, or so I thought. I think you look great and plus he's just a tiny baby you just had him, give it time. But cutting the sugar was the only thing that worked for me. its the only thing that ever has. Good luck girl. Just go by how your clothes feel. You rock!
oh skye... i'm going through the same thing right now. I lost 17 lbs of the initial 31 I gained in the first two weeks and have been stuck there ever since. I usually don't lose the weight until I'm done nursing, which is usually between 10-12 months. It sucks, but I like to nurse my babies... no pun intended.
dangit. that was ness (obviously, lee doesn't nurse).
I am right there with you. Trying so hard and not seeing the changes yet. It is hard to stick with it when the numbers arent' moving. Good luck!
ps. my butt is sore from the 30 day shred. I have been doing it on and off for months and still haven't made it to level 2.
Same boat! I loose as soon as my babies quit nursing but I stop at 1 year. But the last 10-20lbs just wanna stay on! Keep going and remember the numbers on the scale don't make who you are YOU DO!!!!
I have noticed in weight loss that there is a period where nothing will happen...you won't lose and you won't gain. Don't get frustrated.
Think of your exercise routine and your healthy eating as a lifestyle change instead of a "diet." I hate that word because I think it sets you up for failure. If you constantly tell yourself that you CAN'T have something you just get frustrated and then you eat the whole bag!!
Keep up the exercise...it will pay off.
Good luck my friend!
i think that not weighing yourself is a great idea. it just pisses you off. instead just keep it up and you'll notice the way your clothes fit when you start losing. i'm glad you like those videos. i do them everyday...and now that they aren't super hard i do all 3 levels for one workout. good luck!
Keep up the work! I know I will be right there with you in a few weeks. I bet it get discouraging! I know for me cutting sugar is a big help when I try to lose weight!
I totally understand! I haven't had any kiddos (thus no excuse for the weight gain), but I am trying to lose weight and I get so frustrated by the scale. I've decided to cut the sugars...let me know how it goes for you.
thanks for the comment! i love the splash pad, I bet your little ones love it too! and by the way congrats on your new addition!
so I have to say i totally know how you feel and what your going through! weight is seriously my stuggle in life. but if I can give you any advice...first off after I had Trae and stopped nursing I lost all of the baby fat that I gained and in January i made a commitment to myself to lose more weight cause I wasn't where I wanted to be so I started running and eating less and since then I have lost 15 pounds. I swear I hate running but it has been the only thing that has ever worked for me. dont get frustrated just keep eating good and seriously run!
Oh my gosh New Moon looks soooo good! I have watched it like 20 times on youtube. I completely agree with you about Rob and Kristen looking like total losers and stoners on the MTV Awards. I don't like them at all. I have always been Team Jacob!
You need to read Skinny Bitch...it is a great book and has great recipes. You also will be able to eat anything you want.
