New job

Over the past year I've worked in an office in Roy as a sub, whenever one of their hygienists needed a day off. I love the office and told them to let me know if a job ever becomes available.
One of their hygienists had a baby about the same time as me and decided she didn't want to go back working 3 days a week, so we are splitting them. I'm going to work all day Monday, half a day wednesday, then I'll still work half a day Saturday at another office.
I am thrilled. Although I liked the other office I worked in, who let me go while I was on maternity leave, this Roy office is ideal. The hours are perfect, it's closer to home, it's 2 minutes away from my inlaws and I'm going to be making more : )
People have asked me how I am able to leave my baby. You know, it's hard, but it's also a great break for me, and I am still paying off a school loan, so I need to work. I am so lucky to have a job that allows me to work so little. And right now Erik is off for a good month, being a school teacher, so I really won't have to get a babysitter until Jack is 5 months old.
My neighbor, whose son is Kire's best friend, has offered to watch the boys once school starts. She's due in September so she might change her mind after a couple of days with the boys (don't feel bad about it Patty : ) Then there's also a daycare at Erik's work, so either way I have good places that I feel comfortable leaving the kids.

That sounds like a perfect working situation. I used to feel like I had to justify myself when people would ask me questions like that. I can tell you from experience that eventually they all shut-up and mind their own business. ;)

PS. Your boys are soooooo cute.
