Goodreads

This morning I opened the paper to find an article on the book I just finished this weekend, The Maze Runner. I was looking on Amazon (blast you with your deals and free shipping) last week and this book popped up so I ordered it along with a couple others. It's a series by James Dashner. A boy wakes up to find himself in a strange place along with 50 other boys, and he has no memories of his previous life. They have to find a way out of the "Glade", an area surrounded by stone walls and a maze. It was pretty intense and I was disappointed at the end-only because it left me hanging, like Catching Fire. So I'll be waiting for the rest of the series. The whole time I was reading I was thinking how great it would be in a movie, and the movie rights have been sold!
I'm also reading The Gargoyle. It started out really good, but it's gotten slow so I'm having a hard time reading it. I bought The Uglies, so I'll start that next, any recommendations?

Have you read Hunger Games? Or Goose Girl? I love those ones too. I liked Uglies, but it sounds like the one you just read, you HAVE to read the next, which bugs me.

I want to start reading The Hunger Games, but I hate being left hanging so I might wait until the next one comes out. The Maze Runner sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing you opinion.

It's so great that you are reading a ton. I have opted out of pleasure reading lately. My favorite is Jane Erye, but I actually think it may not be your cup of tea! You should ask Natalie, she reads all the time too and is always giving me suggestions.
