1. The Hunger Games & Catching Fire. This series is set in the future. The US has been war ridden and now is made up of 13 Districts. Each year 2 people from each district are chosen and have to fight to the death while being filmed for everyone to watch. There is a 3rd book in the series that hasn't come out yet, I can't wait to read.
I love Peeta-even though he has the suckiest name.2. The Mortal Instruments series (City of Bones, City of Ashes & City of Glass). It's about "Shadow hunters," people who kill demons (vampires, warewolfs, etc.) I love Jaces wit.

3. Outlander. I just started this book and had a hard time getting into it, but now I'm hooked. It's a love story and takes place in Scotland. I imagine the guy as Gerard Butler (you know the hot scot from 300 & PS I love you). I was up till 12 last night because I have to finish a hot scene with Jamie (the lead male).

I've also bought The Vampire Diaries to read. Any recommendations?

Seventh Son by Orson Scott Card should be next on your list. It's the first and best in the Alvin Maker series.
I have a GIANT CAKE pan. If your SIL doesn't have one, then you can borrow mine.
Letting people use mine is my justification for buying it:)
um, ya! Gerard Butler is SO HOT! Did I tell you that Scarlett met him and asked her for her number? CRaZy!
