I've been wanting to paint my kitchen cabinets for a long time and finally got the nerve to do it 2 weeks ago. It took me about a week to sand and paint; I could really only work while the kids were napping or busy. Then yesterday my handy husband put the beadboard up around the island in the kitchen (he cut it pretty close to his deadline-my boutique today) and I think it looks great, and it only cost about $50. Now I'm inspired to do the same thing in my bathrooms.
I bought a new black microwave to go above the range and eventually I'll get new appliances to match.
Thanks to everyone who came to the boutique, it turned out great!

Augh!!! I totally spaced off the boutique. I remembered around 9:30 last night. My brain needs help.
Love the kitchen cabinets, though.
Looks great! You did awesome!
wow!!!! Its looks amazing. I am dying to paint my cabinets since we moved in, total 80's. But I don't know if I should do black or cream. Love it. Glad the boutique was a success. And good thing I didn't do it, other than Trent having to work, Ruby's been SUPER sick.
